Terms of Service

Acceptance and scope

These Terms govern your use of poeportfolio.com, the POE Portfolio Twitch Extension, the optional POE Portfolio Pricing browser extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

You may link third-party accounts only if you control or are authorized to use them. Linking a Path of Exile or Twitch account authorizes us to access the limited data described in our Privacy Policy. You may disconnect those accounts from your settings.

Valuations are estimates

POE Portfolio estimates in-game item and build values using eligible community appraisals, public market information, and automated pricing methods. Availability and weighting may vary by item, league, market conditions, and confidence. Results can be incomplete, stale, contested, or wrong.

Valuations are informational estimates only. They do not guarantee a sale price and are not financial, investment, tax, or professional advice. You are responsible for checking current listings and deciding whether and how to trade. We may change the valuation methodology, sources, confidence labels, or displayed ranges as the Service evolves.

Community contributions

Community features may let you submit prices, ranges, passes, notes, feedback, or other content ("Contributions"). You retain ownership of your Contributions. You grant POE Portfolio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, analyze, aggregate, adapt, and display them as needed to operate, secure, evaluate, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the right to submit each Contribution and that it is not unlawful, misleading, abusive, infringing, confidential, or malicious. Do not include personal data or secrets in appraisal notes. We may reject, redact, reduce the influence of, investigate, or remove Contributions and may limit community access to protect quality, users, or the Service. Contributions do not create employment, compensation, ownership of aggregate results, or a guaranteed reviewer status.

Public profiles and Twitch

If you make a profile public, your profile and selected character build information can be viewed and shared by anyone. The Twitch Extension displays the broadcaster-selected saved character, estimate, and selected items, and may link viewers to that public character profile.

Twitch gear is a saved snapshot. Going live does not automatically replace it with your current in-game equipment; you choose when to update saved gear. Valuations may refresh against that saved snapshot. You are responsible for confirming the selected character and Panel items before activating the Extension.

Pro subscriptions

POE Portfolio Pro is a recurring subscription processed by Stripe. The price and billing interval are shown before checkout and on the pricing page. Unless cancelled, your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period.

You may cancel through the billing portal in account settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to correct a billing error or qualifying outage. We may change prices with advance notice required by law; any change applies no earlier than your next applicable renewal.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Access another person's account, character, or non-public data without authorization.
• Manipulate community results through coordinated, deceptive, duplicate, automated, or fraudulent submissions.
• Circumvent security, rate limits, access controls, reviewer eligibility, or platform restrictions.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or systematically harvest the Service except as expressly authorized in writing.
• Use the Service or its integrations in a way that violates law, these Terms, GGG or Twitch policies, or another person's rights.
• Introduce malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or content that exposes personal or confidential information.

Our content and license

The Service, excluding user Contributions and third-party game content, is owned by POE Portfolio and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including GGG, Twitch, Stripe, and hosting or data providers. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to your use of their services. We do not control their availability, data, authentication, policy decisions, or account actions and are not responsible for them.

POE Portfolio is not affiliated with or endorsed by Grinding Gear Games or Twitch. Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2 names, item data, and imagery belong to GGG or their respective rights holders. Twitch names and marks belong to Twitch or its affiliates.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security or legal risk, platform requirement, nonpayment, abuse, or discontinuation of the Service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, POE Portfolio and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, lost in-game value, or trading losses arising from the Service, even if advised that such harm was possible.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using the Service.

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the agreement between you and us concerning the Service and supersede earlier terms about the same subject.
