How the daily game uses your guesses

What is kept

One row per play: the day number, the price you guessed, the range if you moved it, whether you passed, and the points you earned. Each row is stamped with the version of the market, the scoring, and the rules that were in force that day, so a later change never rewrites what you did.

Who you are to us

Signed in, a play belongs to your account. Not signed in, it belongs to a random id stored in a cookie in your browser: no name, no email, nothing that identifies you. When that browser signs in, its plays move onto the account. A guest id that is never claimed is deleted with its plays after 90 days.

What it is used for

Your guess is shown, without a name, on that day’s reveal alongside every other real guess, so players can see where they landed. Points and letter achievements are display-only progress. They are never a rank, credential, priority, or source of pricing authority, and cannot be bought. For a signed-in account, blind range attempts may contribute supporting skill evidence to future reviewer readiness. That contribution is capped at 20 percent and can never grant pricing authority by itself. The founder’s reference price and range are set by hand before the day goes live and are frozen with the day.

What it is not used for

Daily guesses are not fed to any model and do not move the prices this site shows anywhere else. Guest plays do not contribute reviewer skill evidence. Items in the daily come from publicly listed ladder characters, anonymized, as they stood when captured.

Deletion

Deleting your account deletes your daily plays with it. Guest plays are deleted by the 90-day rule above, or the moment they are claimed onto an account that is later deleted. Account deletion follows the process on the data rights page.
